How scoring works

Every question is worth one mark and there is no penalty for a wrong answer, so it is always better to guess than to leave a question blank. True or false questions count the same as multiple choice.

The official test has 24 questions and a pass mark of 75%, which means 18 correct answers. This mock uses the same threshold. Chapter quizzes apply the same 75% to their length, so you need 8 of 10.

If the timer reaches zero, the test is scored on what you have answered so far and anything unanswered counts as wrong, just as it would in the test centre. You can turn the timer off before you start if you want to work through the questions at your own pace.

In the real test you do not learn whether an answer was right until the end. This page shows the answer straight away because it is a study tool. If you want exam conditions, the app hides feedback until you finish.
