1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Life in the UK Test 2026 Pro ("the App"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App, developed and operated by ObscuraCode Ltd ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

The App provides study materials, practice questions, and mock tests to help users prepare for the Life in the UK Test. Content is intended as a study aid only and does not guarantee any specific result on the official test.

The App is provided with optional in-app purchases to unlock additional features or content. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time without prior notice.

3. Independent Study Aid; No Official Affiliation

The App is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the UK Government, the Home Office, His Majesty's Passport Office, or any official authority responsible for the Life in the UK Test or the Handbook on which it is based. All trademarks, official names, and references to the official test are used for descriptive and educational purposes only.

The App's questions are practice material designed to reflect the topics and style of the official test. They are not the actual official test questions. We make no warranty that studying with the App will result in passing the official test.

4. No Account Required

The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal credentials. All study progress is stored locally on your device. Because there is no account, there are no credentials for you to maintain and no account information for us to manage on your behalf.

5. In-App Purchases

5.1. Paid Features

The App offers in-app purchases to unlock Premium content and remove in-app advertisements. Ads are removed automatically while a Premium subscription is active or a Lifetime entitlement is valid. Ads may return after a subscription expires. Use Restore Purchases with the same store account to restore eligible access. Pricing and features are displayed within the App.

5.2. Payment

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.

5.3. Subscriptions

If subscription products are offered:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings or Google Play Account Settings after purchase.

5.4. Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, you may be charged the subscription fee unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.

5.5. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for refund inquiries.

6. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. When using the App, you must not:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or any related systems or networks;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App;
• Use any automated system, including bots, scrapers, or spiders, to access the App or extract data from it;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or the data contained therein;
• Reproduce, redistribute, sell, or exploit any portion of the App or its content for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, trademarks, logos, and code within the App are owned by ObscuraCode Ltd and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial study purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not copy, redistribute, publish, or otherwise share the App's questions, study materials, or other content outside of personal use.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with and relies upon third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Apple App Store and Google Play for distribution, payments, and in-app purchase management;
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google) for crash reporting and diagnostic information used to identify and fix technical issues.

These third-party services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies, which are separate from these Terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of any third-party services. Your use of such services is at your own risk.

The free version may display advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. Google's User Messaging Platform manages advertising privacy choices where required. RevenueCat manages Premium access and purchase restoration. Active Premium access removes in-app advertisements. All third-party trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and informational purposes.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be available at all times or operate without interruption or error;
• Use of the App will result in passing the Life in the UK Test or any other examination;
• The content of the App is identical to the official test materials, free from errors, or fully up to date with the most recent edition of the official Handbook;
• The App will meet your specific requirements or expectations;
• Any defects or errors in the App will be corrected.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ObscuraCode Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is less.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and handling of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, without prior notice or liability to you.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it through your App Store or Google Play account settings; termination of access does not automatically cancel your subscription billing.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Changes will be effective upon posting within the App or on our website. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes, such as by updating the effective date at the top of these Terms.

Your continued use of the App following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ObscuraCode Ltd is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction, at our sole discretion.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
